چکیده
The paper presents clinical observation of a patient with cholelithiasis and so-called “difficult” choledocholithiasis. Considering the developed complications – mechanical jaundice purulent cholangitis, as well large operative risk, it was decided to refrain from open surgical intervention. Traditionally-performed endoscopic stone extraction did not provide any success. Contact electro-impulse lithotripsy lithotomy were performed. This enabled choledocholithiasis cholangitis be eliminated, bile ducts patency restored, ensured possibility safe elective intervention for chronic calculous cholecystitis.

Retrograde endoscopic lithotripsy using the innovative nanosecond electropulse method
PURPOSE The purpose of this clinical study is to assess the safety and efficiency of a novel lithotripsy method for endoscopic treatment of urinary stones throughout the urinary tract via semi-rigid and flexible endoscopes. This new method is based on the transfer of nanosecond high voltage electric pulses to the stones through flexible probes of various sizes. METHODS The study involved 879 ...
متن کاملCase series of papillectomy by endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)
Ampullary neoplasms are one of the causes of obstructive jaundice. Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) is useful procedure for diagnosing and tissue sampling of ampullary neoplasms. Ampullectomy by resecting entire ampulla provides whole lesion for pathologic evaluation and also is appropriate for real pathologic staging for further management decision but ampullectomy conside...
متن کاملPneumothorax Following Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography: A Case Report
As an invasive procedure endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography is prone to develop complications including; pancreatitis, bleeding, cholangitis, and perforation. There are also other complications like pneumothorax, which are so rare. Although this complication is rare, delay in its management may lead to lethal consequences. The present study report a case of post- ERCP pneumothora...
متن کاملendoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatographic study
This study was carried out to assess pancreatic duct abnormalities in gall stone disease. Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatograms of 50 patients with gall stone disease were analysed and the results compared with those obtained in 33 patients investigated for cholestatic jaundice who were found to have a normal biliary tree (control group). Abnormal pancreatograms were obtained in 24 (48%...
